In the midst of winter, there will be plenty of heat in the ring as Immortal Champions returns for its 5th event.
Immortal Champions V takes place on 4 February at Porchester Hall in London. The fight card includes professional Muay Thai, MMA, and kickboxing action with an international flavour. The event is sponsored by GuavaPay.
Headling the fight card is a Turkey versus Malta battle. Tako Erokcu, a Turkish fighter based in London, takes on Kevin Argelier in a championship match scheduled for five rounds. The winner will walk away with the GuavaPay championship belt.
Yusuf Ali Taleb Returns
Also slated for action is decorated kickboxer Yusuf Ali Taleb.
Taleb made his MMA debut at Immortal Champions IV last September, defeating Joe Bello in the second round. Taleb will look for his second MMA victory at Immortal Champions V. His opponent is to be confirmed.
In an international MMA battle, Poland’s Lukas Stankiewicz faces Mindaugas Mikaliak of Lithuania. Stankiewicz, representing Lumpini Crawley Martial Arts, is making his Immortal Champions debut.
Mikaliak represents the Cage Warriors Fight Team, and recently competed for King of Kings, one of Europe’s biggest fight promotions.
Women’s Muay Thai; Immortal Champions Extreme
Two professional Muay Thai matches are part of the main card at Immortal Champions V.
Ireland’s Rita Gabyrte takes on Jane Iske, a teammate of Stankiewicz at the Lumpini Crawley gym.
History will be made in the other Muay Thai bout. Tyler Hogan, representing London’s Sabaidee Muay Thai gym, takes on fierce Iranian-Irish fighter Abbas Khorrami. It’s the first-ever Immortal Champions Extreme match. The fighters will compete under full Muay Thai rules wearing 4 oz gloves. It’s a match you don’t want to miss.

Immortal Champions takes place on 4 February, a Sunday, at Porchester Hall, Porchester Rd, London W2 5HS.
Doors open at 1430 (2:30 p.m.). Tickets can be purchased online through EventBrite.
