Before the Immortal Champions IV: A New Era main card Sunday, seven preliminary matches took place at Porchester Hall.
A 70 kg Muay Thai bout opened the show. Arnas Tomar prevailed against Michael Pabsiak De Oliveira by three-round decision.
Tomar’s knee attack from the clinch earned him the victory in a hard-fought, physical battle.
In the next match, Sebastian Biggs defeated Simon Lam by close decision.
Freddy Simpson vs Eisenhower Eugenio
The most entertaining preliminary bout was probably the K-1 rules showdown between Freddy Simpson and Eisenhower Eugenio.
Eugenio seemed to have the advantage in round one. Simpson took control in round two, scoring well with punches with Eugenio in the corner.
Eugenio answered with knees to the body. Simpson spit out his gumshield late in the round.
In the third and final round, Simpson again did well with his hands. A tired Eugenio tried to neutralise him with knees to the body.
The judges rewarded Simpson for his strong punch attack, voting the Australian the winner on points.
Rodrigo Tome Carmona vs Diego Cordova
It was Wales vs Brixton in the next match. Rodrigo Tome Carmona came all the way to London to face Diego Cordova, representing Team Red Dragonz in Brixton.
The K-1 rules fight seemed close after two rounds. Carmona was the more active warrior in round three, winning the decision.
Alex Barnes v Sloan Sifflet
Alex Barnes faced Sloan Sifflet in a Muay Thai match in the 75 kg weight category.
The fighters quickly clinched and started trading knees. Barnes got the better of the action, and then rocked Sifflet for an eight count.
Barnes continued to have the advantage in round two, connecting with a sharp right uppercut following a body kick.
Sifflet kept battling but Barnes was the stronger fighter in round three, again doing some nice knee work to the body in the clinch.
The judges voted Barnes the winner on points after three rounds of action.
Allafi Wins “Battle of the Bens”
In a “Battle of the Bens”, Ben Allafi defeated Ben Burge by unanimous decision. The Muay Thai bout was in the 70 kg category.
Allafi put on an impressive performance, dropping Burge with a knee to the body in round two.
Kefentse Ras Kassa vs Ching Mac

Kefentse fights out of the well-regarded KO Gym. Ching is an Immortal Champions veteran-he also competed at Immortal Champions II and III.
